Your Shop Stewards and Unite Full Time Official act on the instruction of you, our members. The most recent Consultative Ballot asking if you would be willing to support Industrial Action up to and including Strike Action closed at midday on Friday 2nd July. From this ballot you told us that you were not prepared to take action to take the pay issue further (63% were not prepared to take action). If members are not prepared to take action, the issue cannot be pursued any further. Therefore, you have told us that you are happy to accept Thirteen’s offer.

You, together with your colleagues, are our union. We would like to thank every single member who voted and returned their ballot paper and were willing to stand shoulder to shoulder with your fellow worker.
