Heart Unions Week 2021

Heart Unions Week 2021 takes place this week , its a time to celebrate the amazing things trade unions do.

There has never been a more important time to be a member of Unite. The pandemic may be used by unscrupulous employers to shy away from a fair pay increase or a promise of decent terms and conditions.

There are many good reasons to join Unite, members earn on average 10% mon than non members as Reps fight for a better deal.

Unions are the people who brought you the weekend and we will continue to fight for holiday entitlement.

There are 50% fewer accidents in unionised work places. Unite reps work tirelessly to ensure employers protect employees from risks to their health and safety.

Unite reps are there to support you through issues you may have with employers and to stand up for your rights and make sure you’re treated fairly at work. There’s legal representation for members too should you need it.
